Uniform and Instrument
Requirements
Below you will find a list uniform and
instrument requirements for performing with the band. Because visual
presentation is almost as important as the music we generate, please make every
effort to acquire the needed uniform items and keep everything clean and in good
repair.
Many bands provide uniform items (and some
instrument items) to their performers. As our band is still young and
without sponsors, each performing member is responsible for their own uniforms
and instruments. However, when you perform with the band, you will
receive an equal portion of the band performance fees to offset what
you've had to spend on equipment and uniforms.
Uniform Requirements (Minimum)
- Kilt - clean and sharp (MacFarlane Modern
Red or a tartan of your choosing)
- Day Sporran (plain black leather)
- Belt - Black Leather

- MacLellan CD-B pipe chanter. Tuned A

temporary solution and you should try to get a matching MacLellan chanter as
soon as possible.
Instrument Requirements for Drummers
- Drum and carrier in good working order,
clean, and tuned. Brand/style/model is at the discretion of the performer.
